An under-utilised side deck off the living room was redesigned to include an extended deck and roof canopy. This new area would house a new outdoor kitchen to incorporate an L-shaped bench with gas cooktop and portable bottle, an ice sink and extra bench seating. Orientated toward the north ocean view, the partially cantilevered canopy provides sun shade and open air shelter for gas cooking and outdoor living.
